The Water Scrubber is not a chemical. It's an electronic device which emits a pulse to magnetize and ionize your water. It is discreet, safe, low voltage and non-invasive since it is attached on the outside of your main water pipe.

How Water Scrubber Works

The Water Scrubber is not an additive. It is an electronic device that uses well-established principles of magnetic resonance to emit pulses, which clear the pipes of scale build-up. Minerals which contaminate your water and reduce the life of your pipes, such Iron, Calcium and Manganese are all neutralized. What’s more, the pulsing action changes the make up of the water so that it increases the oxygen content.

Water Scrubber – the results you can expect

If you are lucky enough to live in an area of soft water or are on a system with brand new pipes and hot water tank, you will find the results of the Water Scrubber less dramatic than in areas of hard water. However, these are the normal benefits:

• Immediate Results:
• Water will have a silkier feeling and if you drink it, the taste is more refreshing.
• A glass of water left out over night and drunk the next morning should still taste good.
• Water tested with a ph tester is closer to neutral (7.0).
• Within a couple of days, you’ll find that there is more lather to soaps and shampoos. Hair will seem softer and cleaner.
• Usually within 2-3 weeks, any rust in pipes will be discharged
• Usually within 4-6 weeks, any scaling in the pipes and hot water tank will be removed. To determine this, flush the hot water tank by using the drain valve. (Hot water tanks should be flushed regularly with or without the Water scrubber unit.)

Once the Water Scrubber has completed the clean-up stage, it should be left on to maintain the condition of the plumbing.

Over the long term, no matter what the water type, there are visible signs the Water Scrubber is working. They are:

• The toilet tank will have little or no algae build up inside. (There may be some in toilets that are not used regularly)
• Green and rust stains will either be gone completely or will easily wash away.
• Sinks, showers, bathtubs and tub surrounds will require less maintenance to keep them beautiful.
• In hard water areas, laundry can be done in cold water. Clothing will be cleaner and softer. (Caution: use less laundry soap to prevent buildup)
• There will be more volume of water (depending on how much scaling was in pipe)
• Hot water will be hotter.
• Hot water tanks will last longer since they do not have to work through the scaling in order to heat the water.

As a precaution, remove any screens on taps so that any scaling can flush out. Leave them off for several weeks until all scale has been purged.

Immediately after the unit is installed, check the change in the water by running water into a sink (preferably a white porcelain sink). There may be particulate releasing already. As well, you may see that the water has more air bubbles in it.

It is important to note that the Water Scrubber is not an immediate fix. Like all good things, it takes time to let the magnetic resonance of the unit to do its work.
